    Dahua AI

Yes, in BI5, under each camera settings, enable ONVIF for triggers.

    MotionDetection - Blue Iris - ONVIF - Dahua/Empire Cameras - wits end

In last screenshot "ONVIF Events", disable all event types except the IVS one if you only want BI5 to trigger on IVS and not on basic motion.

    IPC-Color4K-T IVS/ONVIF Problem

Why don’t you temporarily uninstall cam and plug it into POE switch via a short cable at eye level. Can you get IVS to trip?

    IPC-Color4K-T IVS/ONVIF Problem

@roymickton I assume you had someone walk thru your yard and IVS did not trip? What firmware are you on?

    IPC-Color4K-T IVS/ONVIF Problem

@roymickton At the moment, I qgree, it's not BI5 config issue. Fix your IVS config first. Try to make it flash in live view. Increase your sensitivity. Enable Cross with Both direction

    IPC-Color4K-T IVS/ONVIF Problem

@roymickton 1 datapoint, I have 3 IPC-Color4K-T, each with IVS rules and they work with BI5. For these cameras, I do not need to use CP.AI. You should see the IVS rules visible in the camera Live view. I assume you have confirmed that they flash in live view when triggered?

Metal cover may be good against vandalism but if you have wifi doorbell, it may reduce doorbell's ability to transfer data via wifi

Help with initialisation of empiretech cameras?

Correct. No need to change your computer IP address to 192.168.1.x temporarily.

Help with initialisation of empiretech cameras?

Just in case it helps... My home network is a different subnet than the default cam 192.168.1.108. When I get a new Dahau cam, I use Dahua Config Tool to initialize and change cam ip address to my subnet. DahuaWiki

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

FYI, If Reolink is mounted below face level (very common for doorbell mount), tilting the camera downward will reduce your chances of catching a person's face, as a person walks up to camera. i.e. When person is close enough, their face will not be in camera view. For this reason, I...

    IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 configuration notes with blueiris

Weird that you are still having problems especially if you are using direct-to-disc. These cams are solid. Take the cam and connect to POE switch using a very short cable temporarily. See if that fixes your problem. If not, try another POE switch. These suggestions are to rule out issue...

CodeProject LPR not detecting car because pre-trigger frames don't seem to exist.

IMO, your CP.AI response times may impede your ability to grab plate # before the plate is out of view---assuming you have your cam shutter configured appropriately for LPR. (There are a number of good threads on cam configs for LPR.) 1 data point, ALPR is working with an Nvidia 1650 card on...

CodeProject LPR not detecting car because pre-trigger frames don't seem to exist.

@Tygunn If the goal is to do ALPR, then 1st, turn off default object detection by including in the custom models config. You have it enabled above, which adds unnecessary CP.AI load, and it's detecting "car" which has no part in ALPR plate extraction. Your CP.AI response times of 700-1200ms...

    Paintcam

Agree, I am curious where this is legal. And how does it do against multiple intruders, especially when they're approaching from different directions. Related, products like this have been around and available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07551TXL6 Or this fog machine...
