Thanks I will get from Andy 's. Amazon store.
I used to order from AliExpress and it usually goes ok but one time it cost me $60 CAD to send one back to China for warranty service. And that's without tracking or insurance which would have been $90 It just appeared back in my mailbox 9...
How is the quality of moving objects (ghosting vs clarity at low shutter speed)? Im guessing you are in b/w there because you have no light at all? Im getting close to replacing and older dahua turret with one of these in my alley where there is usually a moderate amount of light but the b/w...
Chris M is good people. His performance during Covid was spectacular.
Earlier this week he said he was gonna look into the new Bird Flu thats been getting into cows and today he does his first report on it.

See if his approach...
LOL, I had no idea a thread like this would exist on IPCamTalk.
I'll just throw something on the pile as a "gold bug from old times".
I don't know if you have all heard of Luke Gromen but his economic analysis might be seriously relatable to prepper/gold types. He is a guy who's not just...
Success hooking up the POE version of this doorbell and still getting my old-school mechanical chime powered by 24V AC Transformer to work!
So I got this in the mail this week:

Im still waiting on the part from China but the doorbell is in and its pretty nice (POE). Thanks to all the people who maintain these threads. It was really easy to get it up and running in Blue Iris.
I wonder if this could be used as the receiver instead of the one linked? This one supports 24V AC which is my current transformer. I could just mount this right inside the box housing the current chime...
Sounds interesting is there a part number or a direct link for info yet? My hikvison doorbell cam is barely hanging on and I don't like it much anyway (DS-HD1)
They don't have the option to ring my old school 24v doorbell chimes do they? I have the hikvision DS-HD1 working (wireless) that way but I suspect it's slowly dying.
Any upgrade path that supports onvif for blueiris and Ethernet and can ring the old chimes?
This is super helpful thank you. Now I gotta break it to the wife that all 5 of our cameras broke at the same time...
That black car in the background of the first shot is exactly what I see with my 5231 so it's very cool to see how much better things could be.
+1 for neighbor's Hearst
Thanks for the great leads. I forgot all about bokeh.
LOL, I'd love to enter footage of a carjacking into a court of law and have the judge remark, "Thats some beautiful bokeh at the moment the defendant brandishes his gun"
Thanks for the feedback @triumph202 I am indeed zoomed most of the way in. One reason Im into varifocal is that I would try the camera out in various locations to see if I should replace other ones I already have as well :> Having one camera that can work in many situations is good for...
