The issue I have with static is not all cams let you use it.

I bought one of these cameras to try it out model C110 and it does work with BI but! If i isolate the camera on my network not allowing it to phone home or see anything else on the network the camera will not work. Let it have access and it works fine. Can anyone confirm this? I'm using a UDM Pro.

Have no need for PTZ, is that TP link really better than a ds-2cd2442fwd-iw? I was wrong with what camera i had.

Looking for a upgrade in my pet cams only requirement is they need to be wireless. Been using Hikvision cube cameras for years they work but compared to the new color cameras from Dahua they look bad and the two way audio is awful.

What about using the dahua app?

Does windows 10 snap not work with BI? I can get it to work with everything but BI.

When using the blue iris app on my iphone i can hear sound just fine but when i press the microphone icon on the app the ip camera itself will output a strange sound. I have tired a few audio profiles and they all do the same thing. Camera is a Hikvision DS-2CD2442FWD-IW

Own there spec pages it says. DS-2CD2385FWD-I has a 1/2.5" Progressive Scan CMOS DS-2CD2142FWD-ISB has a 1/3" progressive scan CMOS DS-2CD2342WD-I has a 1/3" progressive scan CMOS So some of the cams that are now 4MP have the same size sensor as before but some are listed at 1/2.8"...

I have a bunch of 3MP hikvision cameras has anyone else upgraded to the 4MP cameras? I was wondering if it would be worth while. Looks to be better image out of the 4MP.

I got the camera hooked up and the image looks great maybe even better than my 3MP hikvision cams. It's nice and wide only drawback is it's slow as crap over wireless. I may have to hard wire it.

I never have any issues with the crap foscam i have just the poor video.

Can anyone suggest a decent wireless indoor PTZ? I have a foscam but it's video quality is bad. Something on par with the 3MP hikvision or dahua cameras. For the price they have good video but they don't make a indoor wireless PTZ. Night mode would be a plus.

Any ideas on how to mount a Hikvision DS-2CD2332-I into a 1 gang box that is on a eave? Used to have flood lights installed in them.

I can only get it to record for 29sec is there a setting for it to record until i stop it?

I have tired on a completely different system and had the same outcome that's why i don't think hardware acceleration uses less CPU.

Intel HD only. Each camera is set to direct to disk, BI licensed version. I remote in through BI app. Like i said quick sync does not help.

And yes i rebooted my PC after each change.

I will post a picture of cpu usage with quick sync on and off so you can see my outcome.

So know one actually knows the answer to what BI does better with? I can tell zero difference with quick sync.

I plan to add more cameras you can only turn so much off. I liked the overlay you got when you let BI re-code it made for easy backups of an event. Does the CPU have to have integrated graphics for BI to work? I know dedicated is power hungry.
