Hi Thanks for the links. I have tried newish ones from the internet and they will not install (mismatch stated onscreen) so will try some earlier ones but will be careful as you said.

Hi DaBrode Is there any chance I could get a copy of some (or all if easier) of these firmwares, in particular from "Firmware V3.0.10 Build141125 European for NVR 76xx" and up to the latest one that you have? Not sure if this will make much of a difference or if I should just ditch the ageing...
