I got it working using the VLC plugin and it works well. Sorry.. Cannot afford anything better than Sicam atm. Maybe down the road I'll upgrade.

Figured it out.. Needed VLC64 in the path and added on the VLC tab of iSPY

That looks like a really nice one but, it is POE and my router ( RT-AC88U | Networking | ASUS USA ) is not. That and, it is a bit out of my price range. I'd love to get a nice POE switch, run RJ-45 to every corner of the house with nice POE cameras. Now, just an IP camera around said price...

Adding I ran Advanced Port Scanner on the Camera's IP to maybe find an open port to load the http://IP:PORT like the dead Sricam had to no avail. No ports found.

kicking dirt Already tried that.. I had a cheaper sricam that just died and it worked well with ispy. Bought this one a bit nicer but, still the same cheapie brand as my dead one and it will not work. The software you get for it from www.sricam.com/download.html works but, has no motion...

I bought the Sricam SP008 and cannot get it to work. iSPY "Add Wizard" lists 2 types of SP008 and neither work when running auto-detect. The software from sricam.com/download.html works with this camera but, it does NOT have a motion detection area and I do not own a cell phone for the applet...

My old SRICAM had a URL admin page where you could setup the wifi and other settings. It was THIS: http://192.168.1.252:8088/index.htm I've tried to figure out the URL for this new camera with no luck. Here is the manual: http://download.sricam.com/Manual/Sricam_CMS.pdf Nothing in there helps...

MAYBE.. I need to port forward something? I ran an IP scanner and Port Scanner and did not see any port hanging open. What tool would find the port the camera uses maybe? The last camera I had, had an Admin Webpage you could FUBAR it's settings. hehehehe That camera ran for 3yrs before the rain...

I just bought a new cam And The software SricamPC works and all is well but, iSPY will not detect it. Anyone know the syntax to use instead of the Add Camera Wizard? Or, maybe it is not SP008. There are 2 sp-008 and sp008 listed in the wizard and niether work. HELP!!!!!!! hehehe
