FWIW I have a Q1700-LE and it has had no focus issues at all.

I have Axis, Dahua, Hikvision, Vivotek, and Arecont Vision IP cameras. In general I prefer Axis because of the quality and features - the fact that they are not made in China is just a bonus.

Here's one in a hanging planter: Unfortunately I had to abandon the idea because the planter woudl twist and sway in the wind. :embarrassed:

There is a lot to agree with here. I started using ZoneMinder back in 2010 because it was free and open source. I built a pretty beefy server for it because the resource demands were so high - as noted, every frame from every camera is transcoded into a separate .jpg file and those files are all...
