Thanks I'll try CONTINUOUS + TRIGGERED I had just been looking over the wiki Sub Stream Guide. When I select Default on Sub my Main Default settings disappear the guide seems to show both areas to the right filled in?

Ok guess I've always had it set to When Triggered. It does sound like it would use a lot of computer resources on CONTINUOUS though I'm not happy the way it works now. So which do you recommend CONTINUOUS or CONTINUOUS + TRIGGERED?

I'm using BI 5 with a Dahua IPC-HDW5231R-Z and as my video shows I'm not getting a continuous recorded event.... my event starts, skips, and start again. Could someone could take a look at my settings and see what I need to change? Thanks! Mike

Thanks I'm a little surprised that since the IP2M-841B's have been out for so many years there's not a newer updated model to replace it... especially since you seem to indicate the 841 is superior to the IP4M-1041B.

So if I understand correctly the IP2M-841 is Amcrest's best model in or near it's price range in a counter IP security camera that works with BI? Is the IP2M-841Looney linked to the V3 version or are all they all 3V now??

Ok I thought it required more resources to use both a mainstream & substream guess I had it wrong. So I need to have substream enabled in the cam's online Settings but do I leave it at the default settings? Not seeing where looney2ns said to enable in BI?
