Cutting the resolution of each seems to have worked. I can view 5 regularly now. Wish I could find an HDD/EHD to work with it though.

Yeah, but that doesn't look like it would be hard to do. Maybe don't even need all four mounting holes. Just the top two and one larger for the cables.

Can you post a picture of the camera base? And a picture of those boxes as they're mounted to the house?

NTP server shows as: ntp.fudan.edu.cn I blocked that in the router. I also blocked the cameras themselves by both IP and MAC addresses, so they should not have any web access at all, yet they still reset to this default time zone, 11 hours earlier than mine. Time Zone shows correct for me...

^^ Nothing specific in logs. Just seems to be doing a reset every 24 hours at the same time. Only the time though, not a full reset. Like it's hard coded somehow to sync to an Asian time server. Two of them do exactly the same thing at the same time.

No idea where to get any version, let alone a safe one. Company doesn't seem to have much presence that I can find.

Second question on this model ... can the PW requirement be defeated? They seem to have snuck that in on the last firmware update before they shut down.

Have one 8910E that works well (so far), but it will not be picked up by the 8 CH Mini NVR, no matter what I do. Any suggestions on possible protocol setting changes like I see in other units?
