It works great, Often available for under $120 (cheapest was 89 or 90), I have purchased it 3 times for about $120 over the past 4 years. Regardless of the update on one and audio, the camera is very good. I am not new to this, and have worked in the industry years back. I considered doing it...

How to view camera feed on LG tv?

Many Smart TVs have a browser, if you can enable Remote Desktop you can punch in the IP and Bob is now your aunt.

Actually the image quality and 130-160 ft of IR is excellent. Its the Ai that is lack luster, and the fact that it cant tilt up. The JideTech autofocuses too much, while the Jennov does not have that issue. A couple of these models do tilt 95 vs 90(as these do just 90degrees), but not many do...

Looks like the same sensor. Thought 2mp vs 8mp. OK, so the Pan and Tilt is much better on this...I really dont care much for Ai unless it actually knows to track and zoom for license plates or something impressive and useful. $500+ LOL...I think the cams I am looking at maybe toys, but this cam...

    Test camera recommendations?

^ That Empiretech sounds overpriced to me. But you do get a larger than the usual 1/2.8" cmos sensor. 4mp is not bad, but I have been enjoying 4K 8mp. Maybe not as useful, but if the system can handle it, it is nice having. I have liked the dome mini PTZ cameras. Vikylyn its a 1/2.8" 2386IRC...

PoE camera over 4 conductor cable

I agree with fenderman, It maybe a great way to pull new cable. I have used ballun or whatever they are called, and they are OK IF you have a special nice camera and lens that is not POE.

    PoE Switch in Attic

correction, I had the name wrong. Its "Yuanley", my experience is with the 24 port models with 2 uplink ports. They are about $120 for that many ports. But it looks like they have decent fans, and not underpowered. Great to have uplink ports, as these you can use for TV or PC devices that just...

    1. So the market has about 6 or 10 brands of these pendant dome cameras, which all seam pretty comparable, All around $170 to $300 I tried a few and the Jennov, the cheapest had pretty bad Ai, the JideTech had a little better, but WHY are these detecting PARKED cars? The rectangle keeps...

    PoE Switch in Attic

In the attic should be fine most situations.... but it really depends on how many ports you have plugged in. In my experience, if you buy a 8 port switch, use 4 ports. If you buy a 24 port switch, use 12 or 14 ports. At some point it looks like if you use all or more ports the life span...

OS may have rebooted, and lost a day of coverage....

YEs...guilty as charged..:-) After I downgraded Bi to 5.2.7.12 it was running for weeks with not a hic up as I was in the office. I leave the office for a couple days...Bam! I come back to a OS with no apps(only one is supposed to be Bi) running. I will look around. I just changed to Service...

OS may have rebooted, and lost a day of coverage....

I wonder ...Is there some script that would log me in to the OS if the OS rebooted? Also.. I was also wondering if Bi can run on REACT OS? What is ReactOS?

OS may have rebooted, and lost a day of coverage....

Hi Fenderman, Yes, there are likely many, yet often the older ones don't apply to current versions, changes and whats needed to work right, so I thought I'd ask in case someone knew a current link. Yes, I think I do need to run it as a service so it reruns if OS reboots or Bi shuts down....

OS may have rebooted, and lost a day of coverage....

I got back to my BI computer and noticed the app is shut down. I didn't notice any signs of a reboot. What happened??! I need to have BI or Windows to be more stable and reliable. What to do? I remember there being a post on how to disable Windows updates..Was that for the current Windows 10...

Camera with IR not working in Bi

Yes, the way I got it to work was changing the PTZ to ONVIF(OXML). I think I also changed the port number to a default in the camera manual...Try just the Onvif first, and then see what port# you have as option. I may have contact seller and they may have given a port #..I forgot..but let me...
