BI seems to detect which API is on the other end. Just point it to the new server and it should be off and running. The 2.4.7 has mesh functionality and I'm using it with success. I have CodeProject AI installed on the BI server and docker container on my Linux server. There were some...
Thank you for this. I've had a heck of a time back in the summer trying to get CodeProject to work and I went back to DeepStack until I could work on this further. Went down this road again yesterday and had the same problems MethodAgent. Blew everything away and started over with the latest...
I've been in communication with Andy and I've been quoted a $100-$150 USD to have Dahuah patch the firmware to remove the artificial movement limitation. Right now due to C19 in China, things are a bit delayed. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we can get this addressed.
Yea, for sure. What irks me is the artificial limit. It's not like the camera is broken. I'm use to repairing stuff. So when it stops working, I'll replace the broken part in it. But someone laughed at me when I suggested that as I guess it's not easy to get parts.
Installed it July 28, 2021. It moves on PTZ patrol every 7 seconds. At least Blue Iris is still causing the camera to move on it's patrol. But the auto tracking is now disabled. From what I gather @Speed666 is able to hack the firmware.
I've emailed Andy again asking if can make me a...
Would it be possible to provide some kind of instructions or insight on what you did to reset the counter. I have a SD49425XA-HNR that is PTZ Locked and I need to reset the counters to get the camera working again.
Have not had time to looks at this for the last month or so. Camera now says Locked Status, ATWDisabled, which I assume means Auto Tracking Disabled as it would have been tracking me since I was outside removing some snow outside. Blue Iris is still having the camera moving on it's patrol...
Unfortunately he left no instructions on how to fix it, other than he used ssh. I logged into the camera using ssh (username admin with a password of 7ujMko0<your admin password goes here>. What I can do there is essentially useless and I could drop to another shell that the help menu shows...
From what I read, Andy's company can modify the firmware directly. If that is the case, then they can remove the PTZ movement limitaiton.
Andy has only treated me right so far. Been very helpful. But I have not had to warranty anything yet. Everything has mostly just worked.
Really? Dahua is actually like that. Are there any other part manufactures that service that cameras that we can order parts from? If I can ever get this solved, no matter how much I like Dahua camera's performance, I might have to look at another brand for next time. Any company...
I really don't want to warranty the cams as they are working really well for me. I really just want the artificial PTZ limit removed and the ability to repair the camera.
