I was sure that I used to be able to digital zoom in on a full screen camera view with the mouse wheel and then drag around the zoomed in view holding the left mouse button too. I'm on version 5.2.5.10 and can't drag the zoomed view any longer. When I'm not on a full screen camera view, using...
I wouldn't say there have been significant changes to settings in version 5 cf. version 4 but there are new features and enhancements that will never be added to older versions. And of course the new features and enhancements along with potential incompatibility issues arising from future...
Yes, I experienced this with a Wyze V2 I got to check out, so bad that my solution is to put it on the shelf and forget about it. A case of you get what you paid for... not much.
I know this is an old thread but am wondering if there was a resolution to this issue. I have been getting a "DBCompact could not obtain exclusive DB access" warning at 2:00 AM for the last three nights. I'm on version 5.0.6.8 for several weeks and have made no recent changes.
Like other commenters I haven't found any Blue Iris settings that really solve this problem but I have had some success by choosing the camera mounting location. I have one camera on the front of the house pointing straight out and it is always triggering when there is fog, mist or light rain...
The pause button is in the exact same screen position as the close clip (X) button. If one is playing a clip and inadvertently clicks twice on the close clip "X" button the second click hits the pause button. The clue is that the pause button turns red when live view is paused.
Yes, only client side actions... deleting the existing servers and creating new ones, not just editing the LAN/WAN addresses in the existing servers to point to the new servers. I take it that didn't resolve the problem so no joy.
I know, that was my point... the "Store alert images as hi-res files" is not on the Record tab any longer. It is now on the Trigger tab but the Help file still refers to it as being on the Record tab.
Did you just update the LAN and WAN addresses in the app or did you set up the new server from scratch? I've run into what sounds like the same issue with the Android app and if I recall correctly setting the server up again from scratch resolved the issue.
In Blue Iris version 4 you would turn off hi-res alert images by unchecking the "Store alerts as hi-res files" option on each camera's Camera Settings / Record tab. Interestingly, the Blue Iris version 5 help file gives the same instruction but that option does not appear on the Camera Settings...
I have the mobile app (Android in my case) but I have not used the mobile app since the UI3 Web Browser was released then subsequently integrated into the Blue Iris software package. I don't see the mobile app as being necessary unless for some reason using the web browser is not an option.
My thinking was that if you have the cameras recording continuously and do not have a combine or cut parameter set then the video files would just continue to grow in size and may be the cause of the disk over allocation shown in the attachment to the first post. Normally for continuous...
Another consideration may be how many cameras you have, do they record continuously, and what are the combine or cut parameters on each camera's Properties "Record" tab?
No, I don't see any flashing on/off of the yellow border. When the camera has motion detection off (unchecked) the yellow border is displayed continuously. When motion detection is on (checked) then no border color is displayed except when there is a motion trigger and a red boarder is displayed...
