Hi
Looking for a bit of a walkthrough on how to connect to an IP Cam directly from Internet Explorer
What I've got:
4 x Swann NHD-810 cameras, they're (I'm pretty sure not ONVIF compatible) from my old NVR which is dead.
1 x PC with Blue Iris - should be more than capable of connecting to...
Thanks for your reply @spammenotinoz that makes sense and completely get the pre planning. And I get the hate!! I've had mixed results myself!!
Will let you know how I get on

Some food for thought there, taking all your advice on board and trying to find the middle ground on the cost front.

Re the plug and play, I see your point - I was being over simplistic as my previous system did require significant tweaking and settings adjustment to get 'just...
Hi
So am looking to replace my current defunct and obsolete NVR system with an NVR system that can be a little bit more future proof than my current system proved to be - so from what I can tell ONVIF compatible all round.
Any ideas of some reasonable systems out there?
Want an NVR so it can...
The system I had was an NVR not a DVR so the cameras would be IP so I guess that your answer is basically the same but buy an NVR and see how it goes!!
