How about this? :iloveipct:
Now, if the links pointed somewhere other than a post from ten years ago...
You might as well make them text instead of links.
Still, good to see this.

It read everything but with the very latest update isn’t there an issue where some cams without audio have audio enabled and as the latest update now has a watchdog for audio thinks there is an issue?

Fix is to check and disable audio in the cam?
Checked the cams and all Audio was already disabled. Still having the trouble of losing all of the Foscam FI89x cams 1 to 2 times per day to the point of rebooting them.

I do have some new (old) cameras coming ... tired of fighting with it.

What do you mean?
When you click on 5.8.5.5 it take me to the download page where I can download that version but if I click on .4 or .3 then it takes me to the same 5.8.5.5 page where I seem to only be able to download this same version, so can't get to .4 or .3?

This might be a Tapatalk issue. In Tapatalk, if I click any link, I go to post #1 from 2014. If I use a browser, I get other posts. (Not sure of the utility of those posts, however) I just use Tapatalk because I find it difficult to follow where I left off when using a browser.

Hi everyone, I was running a 2020 version, I believe 4. I had to factory reset my computer. I was unable to re-download the Blue Iris software. The files posted on here do not install the program. Surprisingly the vendor won't assist me on this issue. Any help?

You should have kept a copy of the original install file as a backup.
You will need to download the install file from the Blueiris web site here.
But that is going to install the latest version of BI, much much newer than what you were running.

Extended support is 29.95 per year, which allows you to download the latest software from Perspective Software (Blue Iris). I had two Blue Iris instances at our previous home and so had two extended support costs. We sold the home but did not give the buyer the one extended support subscription.

Digital River is a nightmare trying to manage these subscriptions, so I have been paying two subscriptions for a while now.

Just recently, I was charged for another subscription and it was paid. I put in the key for support and it would only extend until 3/12/24. I emailed Blue Iris support to get my subscription to extend until next year and they were able to help.

It is important to know that in my email I wrote that I don’t mind paying for two subscriptions because of how much I value the Blue Iris software and do not intend to try to cancel one of the subscriptions. An extra $60 per year is not going to cause me financial difficulty although I understand that it might for some.

Just my 2 cents.

Thank you for your reply. The new version is not what I am looking for. In fact I am discouraged to continue with Blue Iris after the experience I am having with their support or lack of. I want the version that was working fine for me; I do not need the newer and better features at the moment. I didn't think about saving a copy of the executable file before formatting the computer; my bad. Would anyone in the community share that executable file so that I can re-enable my purchased license?

They may have changed their method for a more consistent ongoing revenue, which makes sense. However, at the time I purchased this license that was not the deal; it was a one time payment for the current version. I expected to be able to use that version for as long as it served a purpose or until I decided to support Digital River by purchasing another license. I did not expect to not be able to re-download the purchased version if I needed. My understanding is if I can somehow get the .exe file, then I'd be up and running.

This was always the way it worked for v5. He only started ENFORCING the rules later. Moreover, you can still keep using the version you own and paid for. You are a parasite and want something for free. No one works for free. Great be discourage with BI...go use something else...there are a million other options...let us know how they work out for you. He has no obligation to keep an old v4 file up there permanently. He did for years. You are owed nothing.
