Yea indeed. On a 8 ch XVR, (unit dependant). You can have 8 BNC and another 8 IP (within bandwidth limit). Not sure about the 2 BNC inputs have to have the same input as the previous poster suggested? They obviously have to be analogue CVI/TVI, etc.

Not sure what your suggesting, sorry. New XVR's that I have and install. Have multiple BNC inputs depending on channel capabilities. You can convert to IP from the last remaining BNC connection. So on a 8 channel unit for example, you can have analogue 1-7 BNC and channel 8 IP and so on. So BNC...

Hi bigredfish I understand what your suggesting. The image from the NVR is that he's using the virtual IP assignment of the NVR itself, hence the 37777 and 10.... assignments for the dahua standard communication protocol for the Dahua cameras.

Those 37777's, are the management ports?

I'm going to buy it, especially with the extended warranty offered. Just checking from the seller if they mean a managed switch or damaged switch and it's full capabilities.

Just checked it's: 4.002.0000000.6R build 2022-11-15. Think it's the latest and most likely the last. Think it was version .3 some time ago that caused the issue with no IVS notifications, unless P2P was active. Standard motion/SMD is not a problem with P2P disabled.

I have the NVR5216 4KS2. 3 or 4 firmware updates ago, they caused this problem where you have to have P2P enabled for IVS notifications to work.

Doesn't look like the correct firmware for your NVR.

I understand the max harddrive is 16tb for that XVR. What size hard drive are you having issues with?

No problems for me with the updated DMSS android app for the OSD of the XVR cameras via the iris + method.

The OP seems to suggest that their viewing via Hikvision iVMS-4200 3.5.0.5 Client software?

Was on android DMSS version ending 701, just now got an update apparently to fix bugs, now on version 702. Still no Presets!

I think you may have login directly to the UI of the door station itself, via your webrowser. The make sure you have no silly "smart codec" active. Hikvison iVMSS will only allow basic configurations.

Have you tried not using a variable bitrate and used constant instead? Also check that your just using H264 instead of any not so smart codec?

Cannot see with products you have mentioned why it shouldn't work. Obviously you would need a 12 volt minimum 2 amp power supply and 75 ohm coaxial / BNC connectors for the camera.

Oh good. If Edge in IE mode is problematic, then try to resurrect IE within Windows itself. I understand there is a thread that describes the process.

If your PC is windows OS, then use the Edge Browser in internet explorer mode.

You need to provide a separate static IP address to each of the cameras, outside of the DHCP range provided by your Router. Also for the NVR.

Are you able to probe the IP address and check for open ports, IE web port etc?
