    DS-7604NI-E1/4P: bridging cameras over NVR and local/home networks?

    This is good formation, thanks! I have a question slightly off topic, can that camera on the inside of the NVR POE network be configured directly from the 192.168 side ? Or do the cameras need to activated and configured for non default settings before dropping them into the PoE side?

    Re: DS-7604NI-E1/4P, DS-7608NI-E2/8P and DS-7616NI-E2/16P Firmware V. 3.3.6 Build 15 USB flash attempt of digicap.dav (unzipped of course) at the console. Its 15.52MB as opposed to the 15.45MB V3.3.6 I upgraded too a couple hours ago.

    Setting up email alerts on HikVision NVR

    I had to set the SMTP server to the actual IP address to get this working finally, apparently DNS and DHCP are still buggy for some reason on the DS-7604NI-E1 with V3.3.6 Build 151229 Also the less secure apps setting is disabled in the gmail account. smtp.gmail.com = 74.125.68.108

    I had to set the SMTP server to the actual IP address to get this working finally, apparently DNS and DHCP are still buggy for some reason on the DS-7604NI-E1 with V3.3.6 Build 151229 Also the less secure apps setting is disabled in the gmail account. smtp.gmail.com = 74.125.68.108
