Reolink doorbell comes with a plug-in wireless doorbell chime which I don't want to use and that's where 433mhz relay module comes into play. It seems like the best option at the moment.

I understand that part but it sounds like the current sense relay would not be wired to the mechanical chime and I would need to figure a way though the relay can be wired to security system I/O board.

I guess I need to see wiring diagram to understand how it works. I plan to use existing doorbell transformer which is 24v along with existing mechanical chime. One approach is to use 433mhz relay module mentioned earlier in this thread.

Sadly, my old layer 3 switch does not have API though last night I read online about newer switches that I plan to replace mine later this year and they do have REST API so that is definitely an option to tell specific port to stop feeding power.

I have home automation software that talks to my security system so it knows when my security system is armed away or armed home and I can use the home automation server to make API call to BI.

In my opinion, I would avoid using API for doorbell chime due to various reasons - delay, home automation server is unavailable, etc. Though it made me wonder if Reolink doorbell API? I suspect not.
