    Blue Iris UI3

Actually, nothing special. NGINX as web server. Proxying to BI UI. Don't think it's connected to distinct Chrome version. Same problem also on mobile. BI installed on Win10. Can create account for you, if you would like to have a look.

Hi. After last BI update, in Chrome, having HTML5 as H.264 player, getting error "Media load rejected by URL safety check.". Changing to NaCI (Auto hw acc) resolving problem. Updated also UI to latest from this topic. Same problem. Before last update - everything was fine. Hiw can I force set...

Hi, Question - is it possible to have in Clips area cameras labels instead of names (CAM1, CAM2, ...)?

Thank you. I looked yesterday into this file but not changed "ui2_leftBarSize" setting. Waited for your reply to be sure. Now I know and will try to play with it. Would be great to have such thing by user... Maybe you could have a look into such option for the future.

I'll have a look. Thank you. I only not sure it's exactly what I meant. I talked about "default" state, but then user can change settings. From js file name I think all user changes will be discarded on new login. Or?

Probably your page is zoomed. You can maximize camera correctly only on "default" view. Meaning zooming in/out causing problems.

Hi. Yes. This is exactly what I mean. Would be great also to have an option to force how ui2 should looks like by default. As example, I don't want for all users to have an quality option in the bar at all... Don't know if it's clear, what I mean.

I didn't contacted them, because before couple of days ui2 not worked for me normally at all. Now it's working and I will try once again. If this will not work, then will try to report a problem.

That's what I wrote before. I played with "virtual host". I was not able to use location. Location didn't worked for me as well. Only as "root" with distinct port.

Maybe this approach totally fine if you have to proxy ONLY BI. In my case it's plent of stuff proxied....

Sure. No problem. I'll post my config later in the evening. Just one thing. Nginx is on another machine (virtual). But should not be a case.

I'm using via reverse proxy. The only thing I was not able to achieve is to use it via 443 with location instead of using separate port. But I didn't try this once again after last updates. Going to try this weekend.

Finally this cool GUI started to work for me. To avoid 403 error each user should have ui2.htm as home page. Then you don't need to provide it in address bar.

BI HTTPS with Nginx Reverse Proxy

I use OMV (Openmediavault) as Linux virtual machine. 24x7. Let's encrypt renewal happen 1 time in 30 days. Done by cron task. I'm not using stunnel at all. Respong from Nginx without delays. My server is Xeon W3530 12G (DELL Precision T3500). BI handle 20 cameras (720P).

Timeout would be really nice. About status updates on hidden tab, maybe it's possible to reduce updates frequency in that case? Let's say 1 time in 45 sec?

Yeah. I don't think I zoomed at that point of time. About original app - it's probably nice (10€+ it's quite expensive), but I have couple of clients, that going to use it only for viewing. And I didn't found anything like BI lite viewer for Android just for iOS. I look into mobile app thread...

Now about suggestions. Is it possible, in mobile view, hide clips area by default and list all cameras vertically? Also noted, that pressing camera image, not always select (maximize) camera or might be maximized another camera. Tested on Android/Chrome.

New release of BI didn't brought a complete fix to my problem, but (looks like) that something is changed. If I use http(-s)://{my domain}:{my port}/ui2.htm login working as expected whenever session is active or not. If not used ui2.htm at the end, then "403" after successful login. ui2.htm...

BI HTTPS with Nginx Reverse Proxy

Yeah... For ui2, if I request with /NVR/ at the end, I got message "unable to locate server" or something like that. Unfortunately, for now, I'm not using ui2, because I have a issue with redirect after successful login. I posted this in ui2 thread. And in original login, no such function. So...

BI HTTPS with Nginx Reverse Proxy

Only thing I got to work was https://my_domain_name:any_my_external_port to be redirected to http://my_local_ip:my_BI_web_port. I got to work authentication in case of having /nvr/ as a virtual value in web server settings, meaning, that on https://my_domain_name/nvr/ opened login page, but...
