@alastairstevenson ......I manage to use Onvif protocol to use the camera. Firmware after 5.5.x need to enable Onvif protocol in Hikvision camera. Your suggestion of 'ONVIF Device Manager' (sourceforge.net) point me into the right direction. This DVS howto video also help... thank you.
