Watch the black Prius as he rounds the corner during the earthquake. He thinks there is something wrong with his car. This one was not as strong as the July 5th earthquake.
I know that feeling! While the Loma Prieta of '89 was happening I was driving a '84 Mazda B2000 pickup about 25MPH around a slow curve on my street headed home and I thought I had a flat tire because the truck was squirming, waddling like a duck at that slow speed. Then I looked up and saw some power line primaries swinging like crazy and I knew it was a 'quake.
BTW....was that eco-Batman running the stop sign at 31 seconds ?
It was eco-Batman, trying to meet AOC's demand for less emissions. He can't quit eating beef so it's his way of contributing.
BTW if you Google 'batmobile smart car" you'll discover way too many of them...
Must admit, I found the behaviour of the drivers hard to fathom. Surely the safest course of action during a quake is to stop the car in the middle of the road away from buildings and poles and wait for the tremors to pass. I'd have thought driving you'd be at risk of losing control.
That camera is a Hikvision PTZ DS-2DF8225IX-AEL. 2MP with a 1/1.8" sensor and 25X power. As to the car, it sure does look like the "batmobile smart car". I see it around the neighborhood quite often.
