You want to know "funny", we just had a 50th. class reunion, with at least those that
are still alive. As I looked at US, we looked like the Grandmas and Grandpas that sat

I hear ya.
My 50th HS reunion was in 2017....I was going to attend but came down with pneumonia...probably a good thing I didn't go, I had been reading on the class' web site where so very many of my classmates had passed on.
