Hikvision Audio Recording

Hi
I have some Hik IP cams which work perfect. I have the 2532 Mini Dome (IS) version which should include an internal MIC.
I'm having issues getting the 1 way MIC to work.
In the Hik NVR I have enabled audio on the Channel.
whenever I go to the web interface for live view and click the volume icon bar - it says AUDIO On Failed.
I cant seem to get audio through the direct web interface for the IP of the camera.

Please could someone help how to enable/record audio.

User Error! Forgot to change the stream type from Video to Video & Audio!!! :laugh:

be sure to enable it in the substream as well, otheriwse may not be able to hear it on the cell phone

Question - Should the NVR have playback if there is still audio but no motion detection at the same time?
It seems if just audio there is no playback block, only audio if motion at the same time.
