hikvision ds-2cd3345-1 wont detect

i have a hikvision ds-2cd3345-i camera and if i connect it to the 7204 nvr recorder i cannot get it working

if i connect the camera to a poe switch and i try to find the camera with sapd it wont find it also

the led lights up when i put the lan cable in so i guess the camera should work


please guys need some help here for example is it possible to reset the camera on the hard way with some button inside or remove the battery inside

Agree that if the IR light comes on for about 1 minute or less (correct?) after connecting the cable, then it is likely the cameras is working.

Next, let's start with the most simple interface, the one that uses SADP and a poe switch. How is the switch connected to your computer?
