So my ptz are non POE just 12v and i'm not sure what cable to use my Power Supply box says to only use 18awg copper also

but the only problem is i'm not sure what to use as i run only cat 6 to the cam but power is a problem since it will be in the roof can i just use auto cable 2mm 2 core

the runs are about 35m max or less

Does the camera not accept PoE or do you not have a PoE Switch?

Just disconnect the Cat6 from the camera, plug it into this splitter and use the 12v plug to power the camera.

If the camera does accept PoE but your switch doesn't offer PoE, you can get an injector like this one...

And run one small Cat6 cable from your switch to this box, then plug the current Cat6 cable into the other end of this. And boom you're done.

A couple points. PTZ cameras may need more power than can be provided with PoE. But if it can be powered via PoE, you can use a splitter to get power at the camera.

18 gauge wire is is equal to .82 mm wire. So 2mm is overkill, and equal to about 14 gauge. 1mm should be appropriate. Personally I like the red and black zip wire for DC power.
