I'm trying to set up my NVR to pick up the Logitech cams I have so i can use that instead of alert commander or Blue iris until I can pick up all the hikvision cameras to replace the logitechs

I set them up manually using the verified IP and onvif protocol but the NVR won't pick them up

is this not possible anymore? i have DS-7616NI-E2 HIkvision NVR

I searched and I'm not finding much info

Thanks!

I don't think those cams are ONVIF compliant so the NVR cannot locate by that means. Your manual says you can add a cam with customer protocol, such as one of these:

For Main stream:
rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/HighResolutionVideo

For sub stream:
rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/LowResolutionVideo

In Blue Iris, you could select the Logitech, Alert RTSP, insure RTSP is at 554, insert your cam's IP, username and password.
