Question about shielded cables

Good morning and hello!

I'm fixing to complete a camera install in an industrial setting. About 85% of the cable runs will be in areas with high-voltage wiring and large electric motors, so I will purchase all shielded cables.

My question is about the 15% runs where I will not need shielded cables. Can I still use the shielded cable? If so, and I do not need any shielding, how do I terminate these runs? And what do you do with the shielding and drain wire?

Please let me know if this makes sense or if you have any other questions to best help give your input/suggestions.

You can simply terminate them normally (ignoring the shield/drain). The unused shielding will not be a determent to the data signals being carried by the wire.
