trying to find rtsp url and tihs is what i've got

hello everyone

i have an wifi chines camera that support rtsp but cant find it anywhere like most of the none branded chines camera and the camera doesn't have a pc software only on phone app

so i find a way to get the rstp link using Wireshark to trace the connection when the streem is on

and i've got it but it seems like its Encrypted i have tried so many time with changing i've made to the url with no luck

i thought maybe some of you can help with this

Try these...NOTE: put 2 forward slashes after "rstp", the forum software will not allow 2 next to each other!:

rtsp:/Camera-IP:554/user=admin&password=&channel=&stream=.sdp? (no password)

--or--

rtsp:/Camera-IP:554/user=[USERNAME]&password=[PASSWORD]&channel=1&stream=0.sdp?

i have got it to work only with VLC but its ... i dont know

- i started the steam from the phone application and kept it on
- then i went to wireshark to grap the rtsp link ( that kept changing every time i start the stream even when im disabling the DHCP in the app but still on apparently )
- while the stream is on i copied that LONG rtsp link and placed it in VLC and it started streaming !

when ever i stopped the phone application stream the rtsp link is no longer valid so i guess the camera is locked intentionally ! i dont know why
and the reslotion is very bad and glitch alot in the VLC

If you scanned a QR code to get it to work with your phone app then its likely using P2P and therefore streaming up to their server then back down and that's why the URL you see with wireshark changes (I'm just guessing here).

interesting
but it had ap mode wifi from the camera i connect to then give it my wifi password

im gonna close my internet and keep the wifi on ill see if it works with my phone
