Unable to configure ANPR with NVR608-64-4KS2 64CH and IPC-HFW7442H-Z4

I am having problems figuring out ANPR. I am using NVR608-64-4KS2 64CH and IPC-HFW7442H-Z4. I got the people counting and face detection working using a cheaper NVR but now I want to test ANPR with the Ultra NVR.

NVR System Version: V3.216.0000000.1, Build Date: 2019-06-14
Camera System Version: V2.800.0000000.2.R, Build Date: 2019-09-30



When I check the box next to Channel D5 on the NVR for ANPR, it always resets it to unchecked.

try configuring in camera and just letting the NVR pull current settings from the cam. For example:

1) Go to camera web GUI
2) Set Smart Plan = ANPR
3) Go into the ANPR cam settings and set Detect Region and target size
4) Remember to save after each step
5) Login to the NVR, navigate to Camera Management, select Channel 5 and see what settings it shows that way when it polls the camera after that.

There is not Camera Management section on 608 NVR.

that’s right, it’s running NVR 3 OS equivalent. Let me check my other NVR
