Or shut off updates before it's too late. I'm still on version 31 and surviving just fine.

Hi,
thanks for that information. I want to use Firefox to view my Hikvision cams. So I uninstalled Web Components, uninstalled Firefox 52, installed Firefox 52 ESR and installed Web Components again.
But I am still not able to view my cam in Firefox. Is there anything else, what I have to do / configure?
I only see a black field and the message "No plugin detected".

Thanks much, waited until today to switch out some cameras and Firefox WC pluggin didn't work. Spent 45 minutes fiddling around..again. Will now use Pale Moon going forward. Thanks again!

Not hard to understand, I had the same issue, after 30 mins I gave up.
Now using IE.
Why you want to hang on to FF so bad?

Make sure you install the 32-bit version of Firefox 52 ESR.

Signed up to help you guys if you didnt manage to come right, i experienced the same issue:

In URL type: about:config

Renable NPAPI Plugin Support in Firefox 52

Add new Boolean string "plugin.load_flash_only" and set it to false. Then restart the browser.

Dont add " in your Boolean string

This works for me. How long will this workaround be effective?
