Will leaving the IR on my Dahua Starlights on all the time be ok or is it best to turn them off during the day time. If so, how do I change this in blue iris? I can not find the setting to do this automatically. thanks for the assistance.

OK, So I am still having issues. So in blueirish under webserver it automatically shows my local (LAN) access number. So when I go to add a camera do I just copy that address and add it to the camera http://. I have tried that and still will not connect. I download the config tool from dahua...

I just got four of these cameras and cant seem to get them to work. I'm guessing it has to deal with the IP setting. Also, it list Dahua as a make but my model does not show up to select for the HDW5231RP-Z

I bought a Linksys LGS116P a while ago and Linksys wont accept the return even though it is a Lifetime warrant without a receipt. The unit will not power on. Wish I would have had the receipt. Any suggestions?

Just doing some research on this switch you bought. So you are able to run non poe devices to this like tvs, game systems, and computers without any issues all while hooking on POE cameras?

Sorry I am very new to this. But can I keep the non poe switch just for my tv and other devices and buy one just for the camera system. Then if I do that how to I connect my internet to both switches. Maybe I am over complicating it. Just want to make it easy for me to plug in my internet...
