I too believe the image quality difference is between the sensors that is offered. I am considering to add in sensors to my doors so that when people approach, it turns the lights on so that way I do not have to deal with no light.

I also took off the cover and set the bitrates to be the same. The cameras are not the same quality. This could only lead to different sensor within the camera.

I see the "S" line is a 1/2.8" sensor and the "T" line is 1/2.7" sensor. I assume the 1/2.8" is better?

Yeah I read nayr thread and decided to buy one to try along with the 22204 to see the difference between the two. What model would you recommend to put outside with exposure to rain/snow and IR capabilities? I think all 22204 missing is the IR for me.

I purchased these 2 cameras a month ago and they just arrived. I started to play with the cameras and I noticed there are quite a bit of quality difference between the two. On paper, they seem to have the same sensor maybe because 22204 has a dome on top it makes the image less clear than...
