Awesome addition! More idiot-proof every day. :)

Blue Iris full screen issues camera no longer enlarges on double click

Bleh... I figured it out. All the cameras had their "Webcast" feature disabled. No idea how it happened, but that was the whole problem. For some reason this didn't prevent the main UI screen from functioning (with all the cameras displayed), but my guess is that UI3 switches to a direct...

Blue Iris full screen issues camera no longer enlarges on double click

Nope. I went into the www/ui3 folder and there's no ui3-local-overrides.css file. Yes. Will do that right now; thanks for your assistance!

Blue Iris full screen issues camera no longer enlarges on double click

Some more info that might be of help: -- As a regular user with only view privileges, clicking a camera does nothing -- With admin privileges, clicking a camera results in a spinning-wheel icon, "Unable to connect to server" error message, and frozen UI -- looking in Google Chrome console, I...

Blue Iris full screen issues camera no longer enlarges on double click

I wonder if this is something my router is clamping down on. The port is open (otherwise I wouldn't get anything at all), but I wonder if some router firewall rule is triggering on single camera views / alerts / recordings?

I also tested UI3 with my admin account. Same behavior. Nothing has been changed in the User profiles.

Blue Iris full screen issues camera no longer enlarges on double click

On a more recent version of Blue Iris (5.5.1.20), the initial UI with all the cameras looks fine, with the exception of no alerts on the left. All the cameras are visible and are updating live. However, clicking a camera now produces a red error in the bottom right, "Server is unavailable"...

Blue Iris full screen issues camera no longer enlarges on double click

I'm having this issue too, last month or so. Double-clicking a camera does nothing. I've tried reverting back several months to old Blue Iris versions, but the problem actually gets worse (the August Blue Iris version now "fails to load camera list"). Additionally, none of my alerts /...

Export a Clip to Avi format

Nope, just looked at it again. "Convert/Export" (as well as "FTP Backup") are grayed out when right-clicking a clip from the Clips list. Selecting a clip to view it (full screen) enables the "Convert/Export" option. Yes, the OP was talking about trimming a clip, but the key was...

Export a Clip to Avi format

Sorry for resurrecting an old post... but this had me confused for about half an hour until I saw this. If you're trying to export a clip, and you right-click on your clip in the list of clips, the option to "Convert / Export" will be grayed out. You need to double-click the clip (to view it)...

How can I improve my recording-only IP cam setup?

A smart hub (I use a Samsung Smartthings) can help with this, but there's a steep learning curve to getting it to do exactly what you want it to do. For starters, you'd set up door sensors to detect any exterior door opening, which would then trigger BlueIris to start recording the camera...

How are you dealing with motion at night with just IR?

At night time, I recommend turning on "Black & White", turn off "Cancel Shadows", and choose Gaussian algorithm with "High Definition" checked.

Trigger based on car stopping then continuing

With a Smartthings hub, you can use the BlueIris Fusion app ([RELEASE] BI Fusion v3.0 - Adds: Blue Iris Device Type Handler, Blue Iris Camera DTH, Motion Sensing) to do what you want. I have a motion sensor that triggers a camera to record in BlueIris. You may need a repeater (perhaps plugged...

downgrade windows 10 to 7 pro

I haven't had any serious problems since switching to Win 10. BlueIris works fine. While I can't stand all the Metro crap, the underlying operating system is quite stable and performs incrementally better than Win 7 did. Besides which, Microsoft will shortly stop supporting Win 7 -- two years...
