The cameras was installed in the water proof box, with the waterproof cable connector. The unit never got wet where it was installed, inside my covered deck.
I pulled the unit and plugged it directly into my POE switch.
One channel seems dead on it. It doesn't show a live view.
It ran fine for months. Replacing a cable is not that easy. I guess I can pull the camera and set it up in my office.

I have had this camera running for some time now. And now everday I loose connection and have to power down and re-power the cameras.
Anyone else have this issue?
Are there logs I can check to see what the problem is?
I am looking for just the connector. I bought a Dahua mounting box, and it was missing.
Photo shows what I am looking for, this is not the box I bought.
Its in the plastic bag.

I have this camera
EmpireTech IPC-HDW5231R-ZE
It has a zoom function, so I put in a location that I don't need a zoom camera.
But I want to check the focal length I currently have it zoomed in so I could buy an equivalent fixed lens camera.
Any suggestions?
I have a nice automated home system with ELK M1 panel and ISY994i.
Mostly using zwave devices.
I am thinking of adding 4x POE cameras, but may issues tying them together.
I have a power line Ethernet system I am going to free up that is typically 20mbs. I think this should handle 2x 1080p...
