@Terk Sorry. I'm new and not familiar with the abbreviation. But if BI = Blue Iris, I'm not using that. I'm using SmartPSS for viewing only, presumably this is similar to Blue Iris. But, everything is configured directly with WebUI (i.e. not using the SmartPSS) The issue is being observed...

@wudwork the PFB203w is meant for the ceiling mount camera (like the one you have) be mounted on the wall IF mounting directly on the ceiling is not feasible. SInce you could already mount it on the eave, could you move it in / back a bit more so that it doesn't any rain splashing or protect...

To put things into some context. what kind of spec. are two cameras that you're comparing ? Ubiquiti's UVC Micro?? vs Dahua's IPC-xxx ??
