for future référence, it’s a jst ph connector - meaning 2.0mm spacing. The cheapest I found was in AliExpress for $4 for a set of 20 (most others I found were a set of 100s)

I found some connectors on eBay, but wasn’t sure if this connector is 2.54mm or smaller. The image you show link to 2.54mm connector, is this the correct size for the doorbell connector?

thanks, you are right. Sometimes the obvious solutions just infront of our eyes while we are looking for à complicated way out. Any idea where I can buy this plastic connector? It might be a good idea to preserve the cable if I move in the future.

So I was able to add to the NVR by updating the firmware of the NVR. now I have another problem - the LAN connector is too big to fit the frame of my door. I want to cut it out and connect it directly to my LAN cable. I am not worried about water since It will be tucked inside the door/wall...

Update on: 1. I reset to default, searched and found on the default IP (.110) as Private on port 37777, and still cannot add it?????? I can add it as camera on port 37777 from my idmss app and is working great from the app. 4. I fixed it by adding subscription as per Dahua Wiki
