Hi
I already have two IP cams but yesterday got another new one and not sure how good it is- can send it back but not after I mount it on wall!

in Blue Iris it says 1080 with 10 x zoom - label says Folice DF-9218HIPO.

Any information, links, firmware updates advice would be appreciated very much.
Many thanks

You can hook it up to see how it looks. I do not see the specs online. It looks like a fairly common 2MP PTZ

Hi
Thanks for reply, well it looks good but doesnt work in browser, unlike my older ones, you need blue iris or similar. the reason I ask is I see on auction sites etc same specs for a lot less than my friend wants (he bought several and had one left) but he says these ones are much better quality and fast motors (it does move fast). I have concerns about firmware updates etc as you said, I can find no information on them.

Have you tried ONVIF Device Manager to connect to it with?

A good suggestion @kozmo2k
And what does it show for the HTTP port (network settings), perhaps it's not the usual 80.
And does it show the web GUI login page?

Without getting the IE plugin installed it's going to be difficult to do anything else I think. Can you contact the seller to ask for the plug-in? Any half-decent seller should get back to you with the correct file.

This doesn't match my 2MP 10x PTZ camera unfortunately so I can't send across the right ones.
