I'm on a Mac and I'm using IVMS-4200 v1.02.02.02. Since the last upgrade I see green boxes overlaid on the Main View window when motion is detected. Is there any way to disable this feature? It obscures pretty much everything that's happening.

Tool -> System configuration -> Image, uncheck VCA Rule
That's on Windows, I'm not sure if there are the same menus on Mac.

Sadly the System Configuration in the Mac version doesn't have an Image tab. Just General, File, Alarm Sound and Email.

Pretty sure it's not any of those options, so I think the only option is to disable it from the camera.

To do that uncheck "Enable Dynamic Analysis for Motion" under Event -> Basic Event -> Motion Detection

I'm using motion detection on each camera to trigger recording to a local 64GB SD card instead of using a NVR. It doesn't appear to be the camera as the green boxes don't show up on the IOS apps or when the cameras are opened in a web browser. Unfortunately the Mac version of IVMS-4200 is the only software I've been able to get working with my cameras.

Analysis for motion won't appear on live view from web browser if you don't have Rules enabled under Configuration -> Local
And iVMS-4500 doesn't support that function yet so they will never show up.
