Looking for install pics of any kind of disguised / hidden cams mounted on walls near fascia/eve area.

Any good pics or references appreciated.

I actually just mounted an ACTi D82 underneath my soffit (ACTi Flush Mount Kit for Outdoor Camera - PMAX-1003) this past weekend. It's not disguised though and looks better than mounting the entire camera over top of the soffit.

I also use the 4-inch smoke dome (ACTi PDCX-1101) to try and hide the lens a bit (can't tell from a distance where it's aiming). Although if you walk up close (within a few feet) you can still see....

Decisions.... I have 2 install locations based on my desired FOV area for driveway, cars, street, and entrance to porch

Option 1: Under the soffit and will need to get the PFB200W Bracket for ease of install to wood coming down to fascia
Option 2: Mount on front of fascia no bracket needed
Note: run non-metallic conduit in the inside corner of fascia and into garage

First photo is location to install cam
Last photo is the rough view from the mount location

Any opinions on best location / not obvious.. ?

What do you all think is better... on the outside of the fascia or under the soffit ?

Based on your set-up, I would go on the outside of the fascia because the camera is white and matches the white of your facia. From a distance it would blend in better (with the exception of the lens area).

I was thinking of hiding a small junction box behind the fascia in the upper corner and run non-metallic flexible conduit up the upper corner into the garage... then paint it to match color of inside soffit so you don't see it and the junction box would be tucked up an in from view unless directly below looking up.
