System Build

Hi guys -

Building a new system. So far I have picked up a Dell Optiplex 5040 Mini Tower i7-6700 8GB 500GB DVDRW HDMI Win10 Pro and solid line Cat6 cable and connectors. I am going to pick up 5 Dahua Starlight Varifocals (PIC-HDW5231R-Z) (and maybe add a few more cameras later) and download Blue Iris.

What else am I missing?

(i) I believe I need some sort of switch, but have no idea which is best for my setup.

(ii) do the cameras come with mounting/junction box or is that separate? If separate, which do I need?

(iii) anything else?

You will need a switch that has POE ability. Preferably one that has POE+.
Wd purple or red hard drive. Biggest you can afford.

That will work.. I have used this with no prob for a year now...

Switch wise, I've been using this gizmo for about a year. I also put one at dad's house when he had me set up his cctv.
