Sharx Camera Compatibility?

Hi everyone,

I've recently setup XProtect Essentials and it's a great piece of software. It connects to all my Hikvision and Axis IP cameras fine. I have two legacy Sharx Security wireless cameras (from Amazon), Model SCNC2607. These cameras aren't auto-detected with the XProtect software and I'd like to switch over from Blue Iris fully without having to buy two new cameras (but I'm still willing to do it if I have no choice).

Anyone ever have any luck using these with XProtect?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! I've tried adding the Sharx cameras manually but the issue is that it doesn't pick up the right driver to use and I don't know what driver would work (if at all, since it's not on the list). Thanks for mentioning ONVIF, I'll do some research to see if that yields anything.

Those cameras look the same as the Y-Cam ones from a few years ago. Some of those supported ONVIF. Try selecting ONVIF for the driver and see what happens. Other than that I'm out of ideas. Good luck.
Yeah, I've exhausted the configuration options with ONVIF and nothing works. Oh well, I need to get some new cameras anyway. Thanks for the help!
