Anyone having issues connecting to their server via LAN or WAN? I wrote the support email that .42 didn't allow connections after the app updated. Today Play store had .43 to download. Still doesn't connect to server.

might not be related to the update at all...check settings and ports.

It's the app. Wife never upgraded and is working fine. Phone can connect to the LAN and WAN ip just fine.

uninstall and reinstall, it works just fine for me...
Also make sure your phone does not have any security software blocking the app

I'm having the same issue on Android. I updated last night and can no longer connect on LAN or WAN. I can reach my BI server on my phone in the web browser, but the app instantly disconnects.

I can see in the BI log each time I log in it looks like a successful login.

I had the same problem and 2.0.43 solved it.

But, somehow, the LAN address I had changed from 192.168.1.xx to 292.168.1.xx.
Changed it back and all is OK again.

I am having a connection issue with version 2.0.42 too but version 2.0.43 is not available to me (or to my device). The app makes a connection to my Blue Iris server but the app then immediately displays an error message that it has stopped. It seems that lately as often as not I have an issue like this when the app is updated so I have made it a habit to extract and save the APK files so I can roll back to the previous working version.

Edit: I was able to force the update to version 2.0.43 to my phone from Google Play on my PC and that version is working without issues.

So I uninstalled the app, entered the first and last 5 digits of my license and it populated the IP addresses correctly. It worked only once allowing me to log in. Then either tells me the server can't be reached or the user limit has exceeded. There are only 2 of us and I have the limit set at 6.

Everytime I uninstall and reinstall it lets me connect only once. I'm using a Galaxy S6. This all started with 2.0.42 update. Before that, it was all fine and no changes have been made to the server. Wife's phone works just fine.

DO NOT SET GEOFENCE TO 50M!!! After a bunch of troubleshooting with the app, anytime any of our phone are set to 50M (Optimal) under geofence option the app will no longer connect to the server. Using our old default of 200M works just fine.

After wiresharking the traffic between my handset and server, I was certain there was an issue on the app-side of things and was glad to see this thread as I haven't had much luck contacting support. I've sent them all of my packet-traces and debug info, so hopefully they'll be able to figure out what's going on.

In the mean-time:
I can confirm that 2.0.42/43 "unable to connect" issue is related to Geofencing. I was able to remove the geofence settings by tapping the help ? and found an option to remove them.
