Got my 5mp motorized lens dome today

zoom on a fixed camera would need a very specific use case to justify; like looking down a long road/drive/etc..
am curious to see some captures from it; the 5MP should look great in the day.. whats the model #?

It is bigger than the standard fixed lens cameras, but smaller than the mini dome ptz's that Dahua makes. I haven't really messed around with it too much, but the IMO, the focus is slow responding
when using the motorized lens, and it seems you can only use the motorized lens in the web browser. The image and the 5mp is outstanding and the night vision is suprisingly impressive. I'm still looking for an outside home for this camera though.

I found motorized lenses to be more of a PITA than not. It's tedious to keep tapping + - and the perfect focus is in between two clicks. The only good one I've use is on the Axis P33 domes.
I've had a couple of 5MP chinese cameras for a few years now, and they are still my best image day and night. High resolution doesn't always mean poor low light performance. The problem with my cameras is the video streams are a bit unreliable (lots of visible artifacts compared to other cameras) and of course the web interface is IE/ActiveX garbage of the worst kind.
