My new Dahua SD50430U-HNI PTZ cam was not communicating with our Dahua 5416-16P-4Ks2 NVR on many settings so I had to access it with a laptop.
NVR 192.168.1.108
POE 10.1.1.1
PTZ 10.1.1.68
Laptop 10.1.1.10

Trying to experiment and fix this issue in the camera Web UI I incorrectly set the filter for trusted sites 10.1.1.1 and 192.168.1.108.
Then after hitting save I realized......ooops My laptop 10.1.1.10 couldn't access the cam any more.
Since the NVR isn't communicating reliably I can't reset this with it or another laptop with 192.168.1.xxx
Is there a config file stored on the 10.1.1.10 laptop I can erase maybe.....??

I can't access the cam directly until I can disable the IP filter. The config tool won't access the cam either... :(

Tried Telnet to the cam but couldn't get in for some reason. I wouldn't know what to do if I did... :)

Change the IP address on your laptop. If it's dynamic set it to static and then use one of the approved IP addresses... If you have to put a dumb hub or switch in place of the POE and take it's IP.

I've tried changing the IP. Thanks. I messed up because I only put 2 approved addresses. I was trying to fix something but made it worse... :(

I can still access the cam from the NVR....just can't change any settings...

When I try to access from the laptop with 10.1.1.10 I get the message....."The IP address of your computer is not in the IP filter addresses."

Thanks BLKMGK. I changed the IP to 10.1.1.1 and I was able to log in. I didn't think I could use that address since it its the default gateway for the POE. Anyways thanks...

I know this is and all, and I have a similar issue without resolve.
I set the whitelist filter. Added about 10 addresses, then decided I did not want it. I turned it off. some time goes by, maybe a few weeks and I just noticed that I cannot get into that camera and get the exact same message as JimandYen: "The IP address of your computer is not in the IP filter addresses"

Interesting element is that my DVR can access the camera. But when I change my ip to that which the DVR has, I cannot access the camera still. It does not seem to matter what IP address I set my DVR to, it can always access the camera.
My camera is a Dahua IPC-HFW2300R-Z

I have tried the config utility and it gets an error saying that it cannot be accessed either because the computer I'm using is on the blacklist or when I try changing subnets, it gets a network error.
That being said, I've tried changing ip scopes, turning off ip4, setting my computer to static ip and trying about 50 different ip addresses.

is there a way to reset the camera? I heard that there was and I took the entire thing apart and did not find any reset button, but perhaps I missed it...

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
GregER

I have the HDBW2300RN-Z and there is a reset button on the board. I'm not sure if your board is the same. :(

When you use the config utility how do you connect to the camera..?
Are you plugging in directly to the computer with a cable/POE...?
What model DVR/NVR do you have.
Just some things to check. Maybe you've probably done this but anyways.

Make sure the network filter is actually off or disabled on your router and NVR.

I added a pic of my board. I took the entire thing apart and no reset button like yours. However, there is a tiny battery; yet it doesn't seem like it was meant to come out. What do you think?
Please see attached image.
Thank you
