I was trying to decide whether or not to subscribe. Your persistance and willingness to give labs his money back has convinced me to give it a try. Thanks for being "real"!

Surelabs, I am happy to give you a full refund for the past year. Just DM me or email info@ipvm.com.

While your 'read like they have been created by a one man band' claim is easily refuted by reviewing our Installation Labor Estimation Guide or our Super Low Light Shootout, we take member satisfaction seriously. Again, happy to give you a full refund. Just contact me.
Pretty cool of you to do, and in my opinion not needed on your part. Def. the bigger person. I'm just thankful for your free map/camera survey software. It is appreciated.

Wantafastz28, glad you like the software. We are working on a new version with improvements as well as a mobile version. It will remain free for a single camera, paid for multiple. Thanks for the kind words!

You are exactly right fenderman. I like IPVM . John this also helps my confidence level (the fact that someone would not like IPVM). I realize more than ever that there are some people 1or 2 % that will never be satisfied with services my business or yours provide. What you offer at IPVM is amazing. I feel like a kid in a chocolate factory!

Hi John. I submitted this report on your site a while back but didn't get a response. I assumed it got lost in a storm of spam messages but reading this thread reminded me of it again-

I think I've found a bug in your camera calculator. I've been looking at different PTZ cameras for
distance viewing and have been plugging in various sensor sizes, resolutions, and lens lengths to see
if I can get the PPF I need. For a 1080P camera with a 51mm lens at 154 ft these are the values it
gives me for different sensor sizes-

sensor pixelsperfoot angleofview width
1/4 176.8 4.04 10.9
1/3 132.4 5.39 14.5
1/2.8 98.4 7.25 19.5
1/2.7 118.4 6.03 16.2
1/2.5 110.5 6.46 17.4
1/2.3 98.7 7.23 19.5
1/2 99.4 7.18 19.3

There is a particularly large discrepancy between the 1/3, 1/2.8, and the 1/2.7 sensor sizes.

Seems like there's a significant error calculating the 1/2.8" figures.

Since I've noticed this I've been substituting 1/2.7" for 1/2.8" as a workaround whenever I've needed to in order to get more accurate numbers.

Boy were you ever right, as usual! I will admit that I am far from an expert but that is changing as I begin to soak in the quantity of useful info this site provides.
Anyone who doesn't like it reminds me of someone leaving a buffet and complaining that they did not get enough to eat!
