We have some HIK cameras, that you can turn on/off the IR with the button in BI. But, in doing that, it changes the cameras DEFAULT on/off settings, so it won't turn back on again autmatically.

How can I disable the IR on/off button??

others have gotten replies as you can see from threads...check your spam folder and ensure that you are sending emails from a proper email address.
Blue iris is developed by a single person...sometimes it takes a while to get a response. But I generally see a 1-2 day turn around.
If you need software where you can get an immediate response by phone there are plenty of vms options, but they surely wont be 60 dollars and they will likely implement any of your feature requests.
Your cpu load issues have been resolved in the other thread...you simply need the proper system and properly setup blue iris.

Oh, I get that... that's why I came/come here to get support as well :) You guys are VERY knowledgeable, and VERY helpful... and for $60... this is by far the BEST software I have seen/used. I love it. I use it at home, and I've set it up for others as well (with no where near as many cameras as the current one I am working with).

Even paying $30-60 a year for support, isn't bad... but, I feel paying the $60 may have been a better idea... since there is some RDP support if needed... :)

Thanks for the tip on the press and hold for AUTO mode. Again, you're awesome!

I was trying to do something similar with the IR, to work only in the night time.

You can schedule and event almost everything. right click on the camera, then Camera properties, go to the Schedule tab and Event Schedule and set the IR to OFF or on or auto during the time that you want.

The problem is, is that there are a couple cameras in the garage, which has very little light... so when the IR is off, I get black video... I can't script when the door will be open, or closed... so yeah... I'll just have to be cautious about it :)
