If it's like a Hikvision 2032, doesn't it have a reset button on the back?
If so - power on with the botton pressed, keep pressed for 20-30secs, release.
Find the camera with SADP, see if it says 'Inactive' (need to activate with a strong password) or 'active' (need to use the default password, used to be 12345 or 123456789abc).

the reset button is in one of the three cables grouped in with the Ethernet socket, i tried resetting and tried 12345 password, no go, SPDA does not detect it, also tried one the IP camera tools from one the Chinese cameras did not detect it,

Again assuming some similarity with Hikvision - perhaps optimistic -
If the original IP address was not the default of 192.0.0.64 or 192.1.168.64 and it didn't change, maybe the reset was ineffective.

What does the 'Web page' view in ONVIF Device Manager show?
Is the HTTP port still at the default of 80? If not at 80, did you use the port value in the URL for the browser?

That looks like there is no HTTP (web) service running.
Which would inhibit any browser access, but not stop video streaming as RTSP is active.
Normally, the 'Web page' in ODM would show the same as browser access to the camera IP address.

Znelbok supplied this in Aug. 2015:
"Just for the record, I got it working and here are the settings

Media/video/RTSP Port - 554
Path - /h264Preview_01_main
Make/Model - RTSP H.264/MJPG/MPEG4

Default User: admin
Default PW: 12345

BI and Swann IP Cameras (HD) - Specifically nhd-806

were you able to connect to it with an IP address or just Blue Iris
Sorry, I've been like out of it since last week with pneumonia.
Anyway, no I have not. I don't have that cam, just passing on some tech info I found when I googled that model cam.
I have no other real or valuable suggestions, wish I could be of more assistance.
