I must have mistaken this NVR for a different one with relays. This is the back connection on mine. Sorry for the poor photos from the manual. I did not send the PDF home to extract the pages. Had to do it the old fashioned way.

Looks like it matches the manual to me. Probably has relays on the output (the way they paired NO1 & C1... is a strong indicator of relays) you can probably hear them click on/off or open it up and look for the relays/post a pic if in doubt. The inputs are the part you need to be more careful of

Hopefully it included a screw terminal block that pushes onto those pins.

Yes it came with screw terminal blocks.

Here are a few pics of the circuit board. It looks like there are 6 relays that may be tied into the terminal block.

Are the terminals with the relays used to power up a siren, strobe or some thing else to alert you of an input alarm ?

yeah those relays will handle actual current, I use the alarm out on my LPR camera to turn on/off the IR Cannon because its light sensor is always dark in the birdhouse.

you can hear em click thats for sure, the PTZ I put at front door fires off a Z-Wave dry-contact to turn on lights when autotracking kicks on, and I can hear it and I use it when im testing to know if its tracking or not heh

Ive seen some cameras with alarm output that was just a N-Mosfet to ground, you could sink a reasonable DC current through those too, but not AC obviously. those relays are triggered by a bunch as seen in the photo.. likely because output 3.3v wont fire those relays and its using 12v rail to power em.

I have the very large manual for the NVR, the only thing I don't like about it is that it does not give enough examples of how and what can be connect to the terminals.

When I am learning something new even though I know the concepts of how to do it, I like to have a really good regerence manual. Heck my automotive manuals put this to shame.
