Hello from the netherlands

After using Axis cam's for many years professionaly the choice now was to go for good value for money so i have tried a Foscam and more recently a Dahua to connect to my local NAS system.

How is your expierence with the Dahua .. i am still trying to find out how to upgrade the firmware.

Wow welcome to the forms, Seems the Netherlands folks are coming here in droves, I have installed a ton of dahua cameras with little issue and have never had to flash them as of yet. I know if you search these forms you will find a lot on flashing them, and firmware. Here is a link to the Dahua wiki, they pretty much lay it out for you. Your firmware will depend on the region you live in but most of that should work for you.Firmware Search Tool - Dahua
Keep in mind this is the North American Wiki but the direction on how to flash are pretty much standard.

At this moment the camera we have is a IPC-HDBW4431R-ZS with
2.420.0000.21.R, Build Date: 2016-07-24 software. Is there something newer available then this ?
