I'm testdriving the SD59225U-HNI and it's totally driving me crazy. I made two video's from what's happening. In the first video the camera first focusses on the cat and when it passes the tripwire it complete looses the cat and focusses onto the grass. In the second video I have a tripwire set in the middle of the street. When the car passes it, the camera picks it up and starts tracking the car for a few seconds and then completely goes crazy.
Frank, try an intrusion box. I've had the best tracking results with one. Tripwire works less reliably.

The saturation is phenomenal in the videos. Great color.

PS. How are you uploading to YouTube? Are you using H.264 or H.265? YouTube does not like any of my formats exported from Smart PSS

I have 5 tripwires set up and i can see the rectangles appear in live video when the tripwires are tripped, but it doesn't track. I have 'alarm track' set to value 60 secs, but no tracking happens. What am i missing?

This is my setting of the tripwires: ?
Perhaps useless, but i hope you realize this is not really allowed in our country.
One can view own property and some video of the public road can be recorded as side effect.

Also you have to add signs that video recordings are made.

If you neighbors do not object there is no issue though, as the police does not care what you record, and are very happy with recordings of things that are going wrong.

Okay, I'll try to set an intrusion box instead of tripwires.

I'm using H.264 for my camera. If I use H.265 i cannot convert it from .dav to .avi. So, I'm uploading the H.264 .avi to Youtube

I consulted my neighbours before i placed the camera, so no issue here. And i have multiple signs up that I'm recording public road.

Very good, my direct neighbors do not care. But some of the others did not like the idea so much and I blanked out all the neighbors so it can not see people private ground anymore. Noone took the effort to come over and check it out though.

When I setup IVS on the cam the tripwire and intrusion lines are appearing on the video on the NVR. Is there a way to turn that off?

I am using it at the moment but would like to know what experience others are having.

My CPU is running about 10% with 1 camera recording 265 format, if I add another 2 cameras to the system would the CPU % go to 30% ?
sounds like it doesn't use graphics acceleration and therefore yeah, it probably will use tons of cpu.

Yes. From the NVR Main Menu under Settings. Click on System > Display then on the right side make sure the Display tab is showing. You will see an option for IVS Rule. Uncheck that and it will disappear from Live view.

Hi everyone I use to be able to draw my rules in Ivs by having my computer plugged into the nvr -I could get in and doing everything besides draw this is through google but I can't even view it through Firefox anymore - is anyone viewing through Firefox or internet explorer ? When I login through explorer or Firefox it says download plugin then I click and install but nothing as far as video - at this point I can only view through google and a nacl plugin but no drawing

I have the same bracket coming tomorrow pfb303w and the junction box. That wall mount bracket I showed you is on my doorstep. FedEx just left it per BI.

Is there a way to set the sensitivity in IVS, when I draw out an intrusion area it's picking up birds and squirrels?
