The camera is a bit larger than the regular turrets. The Hikvision labe has moved onto the actual camera and not the plastic bezel. I'm waiting for the 2mp version to show up today and I'll start doing comparisons and post a video on it.

First impression is it handles low light very well!

lowest light you can get with video of human targets in motion, I find it helps if you wear a t-shirt with writing on it.. If you have any previous generation cameras you can compare side by side with that really helps understand the improvements gained.

The specs say that the measurment of the cam is 111 millimeters, which is the same as the 2142 dome camera. I'm trying to find out if it is actually 111mm, ir is it larger. I would like to be able to use my current mounting boxes.

Got a door tag today for the 2mp camera. Argh I hate DHL. Here's a quick video of the 3mp
I notice the EXIR on this turret is about 3 times as bright as my 4mp turret.

Here's a backyard shot with no exterior illumination on me.

If you want to see different settings let me know.

1/30 shutter speed
20 fps
24 DNR
100 gain
WDR off
H264 VBR 3162 kbps max

Thanks for that - I would really like to see how much noise is in the picture with the following settings:

Shutter 1/120
Gain 50
DNR 50

Considering the detail in dark areas in the distance with a bright tree near field - it is looking really promising, compared to my 2332's.

The house in the background is being illuminated by a huge IR light on the mailbox for license plate capture, you can see it going across the street.

The 2mp version came in today, I'll put up some videos of its night performance once it's night.
