So this camera I am trying to set up is asking me to install QuickTime even though I am using a browser that supports H.264 directly.

Do I need to install an older version of xx browser to access the web interface?

Even the Onvif Device Manager web page says the browser needs updating even though it is IE11. Then it offers to install an active-x component. Not too sure this is a good idea. But either way I try I did not see any way to access the cams web interface without it hopping to Apple to DL Quicktime.

ISpy connects to the camera and streams but I still need to be able to change some settings like GUI stuff.

Thanks for any help.
Cheers

This is how almost all IP cameras render video in the very few browsers that still allow this. Or at least it is on the 8 or 9 brands I've used.

That's because you haven't installed the needed ActiveX control.
